Quibble Creator Guidelines

Effective: July 30, 2024

Updated: July 30, 2024

We're creating Quibble to re-imagine the traditional reading experience by transforming books into collaborative art spaces and providing dynamic, immersive, and personalized reading adventures. As an evolving project, we are on a path of discovery, continuously shaping and enhancing the Quibble platform to achieve this vision.

Our Creator Guidelines are designed to foster a vibrant creative space while ensuring that all artists understand and respect intellectual property laws, as well as uphold a respectful, inclusive environment.

These guidelines outline the expectations and rules for using Quibble. Every creator on Quibble must follow these rules, and they apply to all parts of our evolving platform, including your posts, behaviors, and content distribution within book art projects. They are essential for creating a platform where creativity thrives without compromising the integrity of our community and international laws governing intellectual property and content distribution.

For those creators who may wish to monetize their book-related content in the future on Quibble, please note that we are currently still exploring and developing the necessary framework and legal guidelines. Detailed information on content monetization is provided in the Creator Monetization document. Additionally, please carefully read the Quibble Legal Framework documentation for a comprehensive understanding of our legal and commercial context. We encourage you to stay tuned for updates on this aspect as we refine our approach.

Our Trust & Safety team is dedicated to upholding these guidelines. We will review reports from users on Quibble, Quibble moderators, and other stakeholders, and will take enforcement actions if violations are discovered. This includes issuing warnings, removing content, or suspending accounts, and if required, reporting to relevant authorities.

If you encounter content, projects, or behavior on Quibble that you believe violates these guidelines, please get in touch with us on Discord and we will address it promptly and appropriately.

Respect and Act With Integrity Towards Other Members

This includes negative or hostile comments, personal attacks, or any form of targeted negativity towards other creators or users of Quibble.
  2. Proper credit for shared artwork. If you share artwork created by other creators, you must provide appropriate credit to the original artist. This acknowledges their work and maintains the integrity and respect of our creative community.
  3. Safe and positive environment. Do not post or promote content that threatens harm or encourages violence. This includes avoiding any language or content that suggests or glorifies violence or self-harm.
  4. Privacy and confidentiality. Respect the privacy of others by not sharing or distributing personal information without consent. This includes any details about other creators or users that could compromise their privacy or security.
